The daughter of actor Tommy Lee Jones was found dead in a San Francisco hotel, authorities confirmed on Thursday, prompting an active investigation by local officials. Victoria Jones, 36, was discovered unresponsive by hotel staff, according to police statements and media reports. No immediate cause of death has been released as the case remains under review.
San Francisco police said officers responded to a call from a downtown hotel earlier this week after staff reported concerns about a guest who had not been seen for an extended period. Paramedics pronounced the woman dead at the scene, officials said, adding that there were no immediate signs of foul play.
The San Francisco Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the identity of the deceased as Victoria Jones and said an autopsy is pending to determine the cause and manner of death. Investigators stated that toxicology results could take several weeks.
In a statement to local media, police said the death is being treated as “suspicious pending further investigation,” but emphasized that no arrests have been made. Authorities have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding her death.
